Fall into Cooler Temperatures and Cooler Sports!

Adult Softball/Flag Football/Women's Volleyball Leagues Forming -

As Tallahassee temperatures rise, the thought of cooler fall weather brings some relief. In the months following the Tallahassee summer heat, the City of Tallahassee's Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Affairs Department (PRNA) offers the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy cooler temperatures with the start of the adult softball, flag football, and women's volleyball fall programs.

Teams are invited to register online at Talgov.com/parks or in person by visiting PRNA's office at 912 Myers Park Drive, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those interested in managing a team should attend the new team manager's meetings scheduled for Thursday, July 14, for softball and Tuesday, July 19, for flag football. Both meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and will take place on PRNA's Community Room (number six) at the main PRNA office.

Registration for both the adult softball and flag football leagues ends August 12. Official league play begins in September.

Anyone with interest in the women's volleyball league may register for an eight (8) or 16 game schedule. Team entry fee for an eight (8) game schedule, with games played once a week is $187. Teams looking for a 16 game schedule with games played twice weekly is $374. Games will be played in local city recreation centers.

Registration deadline is August 19. League play will begin August 12.
If you are interested in any of the fall adult league teams, call 891-FUNN (3866), and staff will place your name on the free agent list.
