Some events in life seem to last forever. It's the game that never ends or the trial that never gets over. Maybe it's the light that seems to stay red everlastingly, or the test that goes on and on and on. Sometimes events and situations just last and last, and no finality to them comes.

What does one do in those kind of situations? Endure. The old sayings were, “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” and “suck it up” or other motivational attempts, but the simplistic term is “endure.” There may be need for a personal pep talk along the way. A stare into the mirror until one can go on again may be called for, and maybe someone else needs to come alongside and give a push every now and then, but the bottom line is that one must endure.

It's tough. It's hard. It's difficult, but it can be done. Don't give up. Don't give in. Don't fold in the middle of the game, and continue until the finish line. As a wise writing once declared, “he that shall endure to the end shall be saved.” Until tomorrow...Why Say More?
