  Stop Smoking with E-Cigarettes.

Electronic cigarettes are the lastest method to help smokers stop smoking tobacco, thus improving their health and their loved ones' health who used to take in their second hand smoke.

Most people may not realize that the human brain has nicotic receptors and makes its own nicotine. Over a period of time, tobacco smokers supply more nicotine and the brain relies on that as its dosage. Even in the normal "non-smokers" brain, we all need nicotine to keep alert and have a better memory. This is why scientists recommend nicotine patches or gum to supplement the act of "stopping smoking".

Your doctor may recommend nicotine because of the brain's craving for nicotine. Either way, it's a good thing, so don't feel like you are some sort of addict. Everyone needs nicotine, but we certainly don't need "old fashioned tobacco smoke" anymore. Now smokers can still smoke, but become much smarter in how they do it.

Electronic cigarettes come with different levels of nicotine and totally avoid all the health risks of smoking tobacco. And some of the E-cigarette manufactures offer different colored E-cigarettes to "clearly" signal that this E-cig smoker is "healthy" and concerned about others' health.

E-cig Parts  Electronic cigarettes usually share four components: A) An LED light, B) A power supply, which in portablemodels is a battery, C) An "atomizer" that serves as the heating element responsible for vaporizing the liquid, and D) A "cartridge" that serves as a mouthpiece and usually doubles as a small reservoir holding the liquid that is to be vaporized.

Liquids in the cartridge are flavors and nicotine that are dissolved in "hydroscopic" components, which turn the water in the solution into a smoke-like vapor when heated. Commonly used hygroscopic components include propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG) and polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG400). All three of these liquid bases are deemed "safe" by the FDA. They are common food additives used in a variety of pharmaceutical formulations.  Propylene glycol, the current dominating liquid base, has been utilized in asthma inhalers and nebulizers since the 1950s, and because of its water-retaining properties, is the compound of choice for delivering atomized medication.

In addition, the use of this product actually saves money. Smokers who make the switch can save over $1,000 per year. Independent testing has found that the actual cost of smoking in the test groups was nearly cut in half. Also, the product is odorless. This is a key point since we no longer have to worry about the affects tobacco smoke has on clothes and hair.

Actually, a very real and key benefit is being able to breath more easily within one day of using the product. Many testers stated that they just felt better overall.

What is smoked when taking a drag on an e-cigarette is mainly a water-based vapor consisting of nicotine, and that's highly recommended until your body learns (again) how to make its own required level of nicotine. And there's virtually no risk of getting cancer since there are no "tars" in this product. In the United States, over 500,000 smokers have already switched to electronic cigarettes.
