Mixing nerdy things with lunchy things, a new Tallahassee-based video podcast is bringing its viewers the best of local happenings and personalities mixed in with some of the best places to eat.
Nerd Lunch: The Web Series launched in January. The first 10-minute podcast featured a tour of Tallahassee's hot dog hot spots— Dog Et Al, VooDoo Dog and Chubo's — and an interview with comic book guru Blake Kandzer, regular patron of The Cosmic Cat Comic Book Shop and creator of “Meat and Potatoes.”
Co-hosted by “CT” from the blog at nerdlunch.net and Savannah from thetallytype.com, monthly episodes will feature new faces and places.
About Nerd Lunch: Nerd Lunch is a pop culture blog begun in 2007 by three self-proclaimed “nerds” who often got together over lunch. The blog focuses on television, movies, comics, role-play gaming and music. CT, a resident of Tallahassee for more than five years, used the idea behind the blog to begin the Web series.
